How to wear 'Very Peri' if you a Winter - Colour of the Year 2022

Since writing the Monday Colour Combos on 'Very Peri', lots of it has already made its way into the shops for clothing. Have you spotted in anywhere for homewares yet?

The Pantone Color of the Year selection process requires thoughtful consideration and trend analysis. To arrive at the selection each year, Pantone’s colour experts at the Pantone Color Institute™ comb the world looking for new colour influences. These can include the entertainment industry and films in production, traveling art collections and new artists, fashion, all areas of design, popular travel destinations, as well as new lifestyles, playstyles, and socio-economic conditions

So how can you wear this for you, your colourings.

Remember, in the shops you will find several versions of this colour, some more blue, some paler, some bolder but they will all call it peri blue.

I've seen several shades claiming to be colour of the year 2022, all different shades.

This week we will look at winter colourings and how to wear 'Very Peri' if you are a winter.

A Winter colour palette is filled with bold rich colours such as crimson, fuchsia, royal and cobalt blue, emerald, icy shades, black and white.

You may already have colours such as purple in your wardrobe. Very peri is a little brighter but will work with all your colours.

With this outfit, I have made the jacket the focus in a deep crimson, paired with a very peri top underneath. Team this with some deep indigo jeans and a pair of striking white trainers.

Top and Jeans: Marks and Spencers

Jacket: Next

Trainers: Vega
